Sight of Sound song selection and visualization

For the Sight of Sound competition I have selected "String quartet No.3, Allegretto" as my track. The song, very quickly, modulates from an energetic and bouncy feeling to an almost sickening/malicious tone. The fast reoccurring transitions made me think of the temperament and mood issues many individuals experience on a daily basis. I would like to expand and exaggerate these feelings within this song by centering the film around a psychotic man; symbolic of someone with anger management issues as well as poor self confidence. The man will have a permanent smile attached to his face allowing his true emotions to only be seen in his eyes. I plan on filming this character encountering increasingly infuriating issues and having his reactions escalate accordingly.
